Personal Statement
My dream is to play at the collegiate level, something I've been working toward for a long time. Making it to the state quarter finals and playing on a collegiate court gave me a taste of something I want more of. I want to continue my development as a player and student through my college experience. I learned so much about myself and how I can be a leader on and off the court from my current coaches and past coaches. I want to continue to learn and this has made me want to make this goal of playing at a collegiate level become more of a reality.
As I strive to learn from everyone I interact with and see how I can incorporate it within myself, it has helped build a greater love for the grind. Working on weaknesses, although frustrating at times, is the most rewarding thing for me, I want to improve, and know I can. With the guidance of coaches I am willing to listen to help the team, but without being a robot. My ability to understand and watch the game develop has helped me make outstanding progress and plays through my career.
