I'm a 6'3", 170 lb, shooting guard from Salt Lake City. Because of my jumping ability, I often post up in addition to playing wing. I split defensive duties at center in addition to playing perimeter defense. As a junior, I served as team captain and I've played varsity for three years. I've also played AAU basketball for the last four years with the Utah Basketball Club (SLC) and Eastside Basketball Club (Seattle). I attend an academically-rigorous school, where I currently have a 3.48 (4.0) GPA. I will be taking the ACT the summer of 2019.
My goal is to attend an outstanding academic institution where I could have the opportunity to play competitive basketball. I am a versatile player, but something intangible I would bring to the program is perseverance. This year, I tore my meniscus the week before the 2018-19 fall high school season began. While I missed some games and wasn't always able to play the full game, I still wanted to contribute to the team's season. I played through the season and had surgery after it ended -- from which I've made a great recovery.
