Hello Coaches, ever since I’ve been a young boy I have loved the game of basketball. I started at age four and have played accelerated basketball all growing up. I have excelled in many sports growing up like football, soccer, baseball. All I can think about is basketball and I am super devoted to the game and to getting better. My goal is to become a doctor and I have been able to maintain a 4.0 all throughout high school and I always stay on top of my schoolwork. Even with the sports going on I always make sure I have time to study and get homework done because I know how important education is. Along with that I love my family and am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After high school I plan to serve a LDS mission. I am family-oriented and also a devoted saint as well. From being a part of this church it has taught me to be very humble, kind, and loving. I am very respectful and very disciplined. I come from amazing parents who teach me to be the best I can be. I love to fish, I love the mountains, the beach, or anything about nature. I love the outdoors and anything sports.
I am very determined and whenever a coach wants something done he looks to me. I always put my best effort on the court and execute what he says. For instance my coach has drawn up plays for me for the last shot of the game to win and I come clutch and hit those shots. I love to win and will strive to build my team up from a loss and to bounce back and work harder for the next game. I am very goal-oriented as well. My dad challenged me to shoot 10,000 shots in our indoor gym at home. I broke it down and shot 500 shots a day and accomplished that goal in one month, and have grown to be very mentally sound. My team has been short all growing up and I have always been the tallest out of them by a couple inches, so I've had to play the big man position a lot. I have a very good post game because of this and am very aggressive on the rebounds. I will always be one to take a charge or to dive on the floor for a loose 50/50 ball. I have good guard skills as well from playing on club teams in the summer in many different tournaments. I can drive real well, I am a great finisher around the hoop, I have a good pull up jumper, and am a great shooter around the arc. My coach always says I am a very versatile player because I can do everything real well. I will make a difference on the court with my team player attitude and my leadership.
