Personal Statement
I know I'm a better person because of the game of basketball. The interactions with my coaches, trainers, teammates, parents and fans have helped to shape me into a true student-athlete. I enjoy results! I appreciate when hard work and dedication generates positive outcomes both on the basketball court and in the classroom. I can be trusted and I'm a team-player. Don't get me wrong, I like doing well. However, when everyone is doing their part victory is even sweeter. I will improve your basketball program. My basketball strengths are dribbling, shooting, one-on-one defense and passing. My areas that need to be improved are weak side defense and dunking (I can dunk, but I haven't in a game yet). I'm in the 10th grade, starting my second year on varsity in a competitive area in North Virginia. I'm going to play collegiate ball. I'm working hard to improve my game and hope that you follow my progress.
