Andrew Brown '11 Recruiting Profile

I am 18 years old, 6'8", weigh 235 lbs and I am very coordinated and agile for a man my size. I have played high school varsity center/power forward for 3 years at Honaker High School. In 2010, I will be playing for IMG Academy as a post-graduate. I have a high GPA of 3.95 and it is very important to me to maintain a high GPA and graduate college. I have grown up in a small town in southwest Virginia on a dairy farm. I am accustomed to hard work and discipline. When I have a job to do, I am the first one there and I won't leave until I have finished the job to the best of my ability. I don't want to be the center of attention. I want to be on a college basketball team. I am a team player. I love basketball and I think I would be a positive influence for any team. I would never quit. For the past 3 years I have had private basketball sessions 3 times per week all year round even during basketball season. I would prefer to remain in the southeast but I would go anywhere to play college basketball. I will play any division.
