I am a multi-sport athlete yet basketball has been my focus. I’ve played basketball since I was in 1st grade. I’ve played travel ball all of my life, made the junior varsity team my 8th grade year, and was a starter on my high school basketball team as a freshman. That year I received Honorable Mention for my District and was awarded Leading Rebounder. Now as a rising sophomore, I just completed my first year of showcase basketball. This sport has been a great experience and taught me to be a team player, work with others, hard work and determination, and to be a leader. Often coaches tell me I have good court vision as well as a strong sports IQ. I’m currently 6’3” and weigh 180 lbs. I mainly play power forward and shooting guard and play a good amount of time in the post position on my high school team. I am a hard working student athlete that averages a 3.9 GPA. I prefer to attend a college on the east coast so I can be closer to home and family, and would appreciate any financial assistance that can be provided. As of now, I am unsure of what I want to major in but, I am leaning towards something in athletics. I am hard working, show respect, and enjoy every second I have a basketball in my hand. I want to pursue my lifelong dream in playing basketball at the college level.
