Personal Statement
I am currently a sophomore at clarks summit university. I was a medical redshirt my freshman year after dislocating my elbow early in the season and came back the next season and played. I am grateful for the opportunity I was given, but felt it was best to find another school that could help me better myself as a student athlete. In the first two games of the season I totaled 51 points while shooting 73% from the field. It is my goal to find a place that will help me reach my potential on the court and off the court in the classroom. I believe in sacrificing for the better of the team and doing whatever needs to be done in order to produce at the college level. I come from a high school with a culture that believed in ALWAYS working hard and a family atmosphere and I carry that with me wherever I go. Coming off of an injury my freshman year and to go through rehab and come back better than I was, taught me persistence and made me dig deeper than I had before. With that experience I never take the game for granted and give my all every time I step foot in a gym.
