I started playing basketball when I was in 1st grade at my local YMCA but stopped for a little bit to play select soccer. I started playing again in 3rd grade and fell in love with basketball so much so that I asked my parents if it would be possible to play it year round. I played pee wee and AAU. I go to my local gym whenever I can, sign up for camps, training sessions, and play outside on my driveway rain or shine (mainly rain in the Pacific Northwest). I’m working to get stronger by lifting, getting faster by playing track and football, and building my basketball IQ by watching college basketball and focusing in school. My academics have always been good. I’ve received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence in Elementary and Middle School. Currently I’m averaging 3.6 out of a 4.0 GPA; I’m working on improving my grades to achieve a 4.0 or better GPA. I know that I have people that look up to me which motivates me to take the next steps forward in developing my skills and abilities on and off the court. My goal is to obtain a college scholarship that can afford me the opportunity to be the best basketball player and student possible.
