I've been committed to playing competitive basketball since 3rd grade, and I'm absolutely passionate about the game of basketball. In March 2017 I went to Elite Basketball Circuit (EBC) Washington Camp, and earned top 25 in the 2021 class. The first game I had 25 pts, shot 6-8 from three and got named top performer. In July, I got an invitation to try out for an extremely talented Dream Vision 14u team out of Los Angeles, CA. I played in one tournament with them at the end of summer and I averaged 8 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists while playing the 2 guard. Dream Vision invited me to come back to CA in April 2018 to try out for their 15U Adidas team. In August 2017, I was invited to compete in the EBC Jr. All American camp in Anaheim, CA, and I earned top 25 honors for the class off 2021. On September 10th, I participated in West Coast Elite's Northwest High Academic camp in Seattle. I performed well against some talented, bigger, and older players while averaging 13.5 ppg, 8 reb, and 2 assists. From my performance at the WCE camp I earned an invitation to play for an amazing Seattle Rotary NIKE EYBL 15U team in spring of 2018. I'm coachable, and a positive encouraging teammate. I have a great 3 point and mid range shot, I can beat most players off the dribble and finish with both hands, I can also play the post with a strong foundation and good hands finishing inside. I am normally the best shot blocker on whatever team I play with and can guard multiple positions.
I am relentlessly dedicated to improvement, and becoming more athletic and explosive. I train 3 times a week with former NBA strength trainer Tommy Boyer-Kendrick at Rockwood Sports, and I also do individual basketball skill training with my trainer, Nick Seaman 4 times a week. I also have an individual shooting training session once a week with Whitworth University Assistant Coach, Kenny Love. I have a superior work ethic, and I only rest when I feel my body needs it as I am committed to improvement.
I've always done really well with academics, I've won the President's Academic Excellence Award for five years straight. I am currently in 2 advanced classes, Honors English, and Geometry as a freshman. As of right now, I hold a 3.825 GPA and working toward a 4.0 throughout my high school year while challenging myself with advanced classes. I am currently looking for more opportunities to volunteer, and help others in my community. During lunch at school, I look for a lonely kid and I sit and have lunch with them to give them some company. I have been invited to compete at the Phenom America 15th Anniversary National 150 camp, and I am volunteering to visit the children at St. Jude's Children's Hospital to hand out gifts, and spend time with the kids in San Diego before camp.
