I was born in Wisconsin where I live with my family. I am a sophomore at Medford Area Senior High and I am enjoying my time there. I have always been passionate about my school work and sports...hence my GPA is 3.93. In sports, I am very good in basketball, soccer, and in track but have always loved to play basketball as a kid.
I am very focused, driven and I am a team player. My soccer coach put me as a starter for our soccer team in every game from freshman year and in sophomore year. I was awarded the most improved player.
I have been on the Varsity basketball as a freshman and sophomore and was selected to be the captain of the basketball team this sophomore year. I was awarded the most improved player for basketball and named athlete of the week for Central Wisconsin. I was awarded “All conference honorable mention” and selected also by teachers and coaches to numerous leadership camps.
I have kept my grades up, despite being in 3 sports. I plan to study Computer Engineering and have been involved in project lead the way classes (PLTW). As a sophomore I am in the Science Olympiad.
I have been a contributing member in my community and have served in my church since second grade and volunteer at youth basketball camps. I also served on student council during my freshman year. The Sheriff of our county has recognized me and went out of his way to send me a personal note congratulating me for being a good citizen and role model for my friends.
My goal is really to find a college that will challenge me academically while playing the sport I love. I want to always excel both ways and I believe I can do that and make my family proud. My faith and my family are very important to me.
