My name is Davin Stricker, from Mellen, Wisconsin. I strive to become a better person each day and improve my social, academic, and athletic skills. I am a member of National Honor Society (NHS) and also play football (QB) and baseball (P). I am also enlisted in the Army National Guard and will be attending basic training in summer 2016. This will not impact my timeline for college.
My passion has always been basketball. I spent last summer playing AAU for the Wisconsin Jets and have worked hard each offseason to improve my game. I was selected 1st Team All-Conference after my sophomore and junior seasons, while leading our team to winning seasons. I surpassed 1,000 career points during my junior season and am currently 90 points away from my school's all time record going into my senior year. My biggest goal for next season is to lead our team to a Regional Championship, something that hasn't been done at my school in several seasons.
For college, I am looking for a little more diversity and opportunities to continue growing as a person. I am undecided which direction I want to go for a major. Basketball will play a major role in which college I choose to attend.
