My name is Baron (BJ) Hentz Jr. and I am part of a very loving, caring and supportive family. My parents as well as my extended family have always been there to encourage me with everything that I do, whether it is school, basketball, football, or church activities, they are there. As a result I have learned to appreciate the sacrifices they have made for me to pursue the things that I love and this has pushed me to be the best me I can be. I've loved basketball for as long as I can remember and have been playing since I was six years old. Basketball has taught me that I have to work hard and only I have control of how hard I work.
I attend Homestead High School in Mequon, WI, c/ 2020 and will be playing varsity basket ball for Coach Sean Crider for the 2017-2018 season. I also play AAU basketball for Wisconsin United with Coach Mike Debakker. I am a 5'8" 143 pound pure point guard that can and does facilitate to each and every person on the floor. My belief is that I can make everyone on my team around me better as well as myself with my contributions. I believe that my quickness and arsenal of moves allows me to score when needed as well as my defensive skills. In addition to my basketball ability, I am a hardworking and honest young man with a great level of respect for others. I work hard to continue to improve my skills and I don't complain about the amount of time and effort that it takes. My first priority is school and I have set goals for myself to maintain at least a 3.2 GPA for the next 3 years. My goal is to use my athletic ability to further my education and continue to play basketball.
