At the collegiate level, I aspire to play at the highest level possible. My goal is to become the best player I can be. I plan on doing that by putting in the hard work academically and athletically. I don't want to be someone who can just play basketball, I want to have a career I can fall back on if playing basketball doesn't work out for me. I feel I am a good candidate for any team because I bring leadership, drive and determination. I try to lead drills and show my teammates the proper way to execute a drill, however, I look to learn from the drill myself too. When a teammate might need encouragement for whatever reason, I try to offer that as well. What I feel sets me apart from other potential recruits is I have a strong drive to be successful and an even stronger dislike for losing. Certainly team goals are more important than individual goals and I just want to contribute and help the team reach the highest level possible. I feel that I am a pretty nice kid to be around, fun and laid back, but when I step on that court, I am completely focused on helping my team get that W and being as competitive as possible. I am driven to be a quality student athlete and will work hard in both areas wherever I am fortunate enough to further my education. In addition to being a high level student athlete, I definitely want to take an active role in helping the community that I attend college in. Giving back is something that is very important. Lastly, I am truly thankful for having the opportunity to attend such a wonderful high school in University School of Milwaukee and I am truly grateful for all of the support shown to me by my parents, educators, coaches and all of those who have been supportive of me. Thank you for your time, may you be blessed and encouraged.
