My name is Alex King from Neillsville, Wisconsin. I am writing to introduce myself to you as I have a great desire to play basketball at the collegiate level and would like the opportunity to be part of your program. I am a junior and a third year starter on the Neillsville Varsity Boys Basketball Team where I am a point/shooting guard.
A little bit about myself. We finished our pre-playoff 2018-19 season our team is 16-6 overall, 13-3 in conference play. My individual stats:
- 22.2 points/game
- 7.5 rebounds/game
- 3.9 steals/game
- 4.2 assists/game
- 9 double-doubles in 22 games
Achievements and Awards:
- 2018-19 All-State Team - Honorable Mention
- 2018-19 Eastern Cloverbelt Player of the Year

Besides playing basketball, I am a sprinter and long/triple jumper on the Neillsville Varsity Track & Field Team. In the 2018 season, I finished as a State Sectional Finalist in the Triple Jump.
As a student, I currently have a 3.3 GPA. I place a high priority on my education and have a rigorous class schedule. Besides taking my courses, I also tutor in a middle school math and science classroom, am a Big Buddy to a special needs student, and organized a Hoops Against Hunger Food Drive that benefited the local food pantry. While playing college basketball, I will take courses to obtain a Marketing degree.
