I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember. Basketball has played such a large part in my life for many years now. I have set goals, achieved them, and then set more. I push myself to be both the best basketball player and student that I can be. Being a part of both varsity basketball and soccer were great accomplishments that I can have to build off of. As well as my athletic achievements, even more important are my academic ones. I have been on the high honor roll all throughout high school and have a cumulative gpa of 4.0, I am admitted into the 2020 NHS chapter and take part in both Model UN and DECA for my school.
Though I had an up and down season this year for varsity basketball, there were successes I am proud of. I set a school record with nine three pointers in a game and finished the game with 33 points and 11 rebounds, led our highschool team in blocks and also started a game on my varsity team. There were many takeaways I pulled from this year. I learned that I must be more confident in myself and my abilities, I need to be more aggressive in my games and learn better for the future. I strive to be the best possible student athlete possible and will work tirelessly to do so.
