Personal Statement
Hello College Coaches!
I am an excellent fit for your basketball program for many reasons.
I'm a 6'4 Guard, who can shoot deep threes and drive to the rim which makes me very versatile in many different offenses. I am a spot up shooter and can create my own shots. I started high school varsity my freshman year earning All Conference honors along with Offensive Player of the Year for my Team. My sophomore season I earned All Conference 2nd team honors, my team's Offensive Player of the Year, along with averaging 27 PPG in post season play. My junior season brought another unanimous 1st Team All Conference selection and Offensive Player of the Year for my team. A key leadership role presented itself as I was unanimously voted Team Captain and Team MVP.
Along with basketball I am an accomplished golfer. As a junior I was crowned the Wyoming 2A Individual State Champion, named 2A Golfer of the Year, earned All State Honors, and awarded the Sheridan Press Athlete of the Year.
Adding to my athletic achievements, I pride myself on my schoolwork. I hold a 3.60/4.0 GPA and will be a 2 year member of National Honors Society. I am a part of Student Council and the Club President of FBLA. My sophomore year I was awarded 1st Place in Wyoming for the category Entrepreneurship in FCCLA. I continued on to Nationals, where I was awarded a near perfect score - bringing home the 1st Place Gold Medal in the United States for the small business I created and maintain on my own.
My father was a former 2 sport collegiate athlete and is currently a high school principal, which is where I have been so fortunate to gain gym access to work on my skills. My mother is an educator as well, which has instilled in me the importance of education for my future.
