Personal Statement
As a multi-sport athlete, I have learned that it is critical to work hard and practice with a purpose. I have experienced the triumph of pitching and playing 2nd base to help my team to 2 state baseball championships. I have had the opportunity on 2 separate occasions to stand on the podium at the Wyoming State track meet. I have started varsity basketball since my freshman year. I was voted team captain sophomore, junior, and senior years. I received 1st Team All-Conference my sophomore and junior years and 1st Team All-State my junior year of high school basketball, and this year was a nominee for the McDonald's All-American game.
I am dedicated to academics and community involvement. I have been inducted into the National Honor Society and am a member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I am active in the "Totes of Hope" program, which provides food nourishment for children in need. I am also a part of the "Students for Vets" program where I have helped several veterans with chores they were unable to complete on their own.
My goal has always been to play collegiate basketball. I continue to set goals and work to achieve them. I am dedicated to individual workouts and attend camps in order to improve my skills and performance. I will continue to work hard to gain the opportunity to attend a college where I will do my best to help my team succeed.
