Justis Reese '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Justis Reese.  I’m 6’2, 165 pounds. I’ve been playing basketball and football since I was in 3^rd grade.  Some of the thing I like to do on my free time is hangout with friends, listen to music, and working on basketball.

I’m a good student in school, I have a 3.0.  One of my favorite subjects in school is history. My academic goals for my junior year are to maintain a 3.0 or better GPA, work on my confidence when speaking in front of groups, time management, and study habits for assignments and test.  For college I’m interested in majoring in either history, teaching or athletic trainer.

I’m a receiver/quarterback in football on defense I play safety/comer back. The reason why I play basketball is because I just love the sport and I’ve been playing it since I was little. Another reason why I play is because I like being challenged by other players and seeing how far I can take my abilities.  

I reached my goals of last year, by starting every game on Varsity.  I also averaged 2 assists, 3.1 steals, and 9 points per game.  Next year I would like to increase my averages to 5 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks, and 12-15 points per game.  I would also like to get my free throw percentage up to 80%.   My main goal for next year is to enjoy the game and have fun!
