Diving Highlights...
Aquatics GB - Eli...
Aquatics GB - Eli...I have been diving since the age of 6. I am very excited to think that everything I have done and achieved so far in sport and education will lead to competing at collegiate level with a life-changing higher education in the USA.
Predominantly a platform diver, I continue to maintain a strong springboard list and set of results. Most recently, I competed for GB at the 8 Nations International in Germany, where I got bronze in the A Platform competition. I now have a full 10m list and continue to add new springboard dives.
I train 17 hours a week and really enjoy every aspect, striving to maintain a great work ethic whilst remaining extremely coachable. My aerial awareness is very high and quite remarkable according to my coach, and I never stop trying to learn and progress. I work hard in dry-training and give my all in any workout. I am in excellent physical shape and have good strength. I relish being pushed, and my coach admits he can be his most critical self to help me improve.
I have always made sure to keep an eye on the younger members of the squad and on camps. I was looked after by older divers myself when I was young. It is important that we are a close-knit squad (for us all to progress), so I make sure to bring my positivity, energetic personality and always set an example to other divers.
I have made many friends in the sport, not just at my club, but from clubs in the UK and around the world. I relish meeting new peers, coaches and inspiring divers. I am not a shy person.
Academically, I set myself high standards. I completed my GCSEs in the summer of 2024, in which I got four Grade 9s, four grade 8s and one 7. I am taking 4 A Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Biology). In my recent mock exams, I graded A, A, A, B and my predicted A Levels are for "all A's" for summer 2026.
I am also a High Diver, competing from 27m with my 4-dive list from last summer. I did 3 x senior world level competitions last year (1 world points qualifier and 2 Red Bull wild cards). I am now the youngest high diver ever to compete from 27m.
My goal is to find a college where I can thrive academically but also continue to make progress in diving. As I grow stronger and even more athletic, I know that I can not only stand out on platform in terms of scores and DD, but my springboard potential is very high, and I am starting to see big progress this season with new dives and higher scores.
I want to show a new team and coaches everything I can bring to their 2026 Roster and give my all for my time at university.
