Sylas Elliott '14 Recruiting Profile

Just to tell you a little bit about myself.  I pride myself upon being extremely disciplined, motivated, focused and goal oriented. I work hard at trying to be the best person and golfer I can be.  My ultimate goal is to make it to the PGA tour.  During my freshman year at Wallace State, I qualified for 11 of 12 tournaments and placed top 10, 9 times.  Two of those finishes being wins, one being the first tournament of the year which is the Wallace State Invitational at Cullman Golf Course, with a 68, 65, 67, and the other at the Regional 22 tournament with a 71, 70, 69.  I placed 10th at the District 4 tournament and 10th at the NJCAA Division I national tournament.  Some of my accolades include making the All-Region team, All District 4 team, and NJCAA Ping 2nd Team All American.  I was crowned as a NJCAA Division I National Championship All-American and NJCAA Top 5 Freshman of the Year.
