Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Adam Sanders. I have been playing competitive golf since I was nine years old. Just this year I began competing on the AJGA tour. I have made the cut in all of these tournaments and my best finish was eighth place in the Huntsville Junior at The Ledges. Also, I have competed on the SJGT, winning the Match Play Championship this past June and I was selected to be a member of the Nike Cup Team in which we successfully defeated the Cannongate Tour out of Georgia. I have an extraordinary work ethic, and I feel that it is one of my strongest attributes. I am very good at motivating others to play well and encouraging them to get better.
I attend Oxford High School in Oxford, Alabama. I have been the number one player since eighth grade. I have won our county championship the past two years and our team has won the championship three years consecutively. My goal is to become an elite college golfer. I would like attend a school where I can pursue receiving a good education along with being able to continue developing my golf game. My desired field of study is in Business. I sincerely believe that I can compete at the highest level in collegiate golf. Also, I believe that I will be a major contributor to the success of a championship golf program.
