Personal Statement

I grew up playing baseball and hockey and began playing golf at the age of 11.  I fell in love with the sport and decided to commit to it full time in high school.  Golf is not only fun, it has also provided me with lessons to grow as a person through challenges and accomplishments. Playing golf on a team in college would allow me to continue to work hard to improve as a player, and to pursue a degree in Business and Economics.  I thrive in a team atmosphere and playing college golf is an important goal in my life.  

Through AP courses, I have similarly challenged myself in academics. In addition to golf, I am part of the Ambassadors club at my high school, assisting incoming students.
