Griffin Wuensch '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play college golf and earn a business degree. Growing up I played soccer, football, and basketball for many years. I played golf for fun with my dad at our country club. Then, my freshman year of high school I decided to switch to golf full-time and I have never looked back. Golf has become my passion. I have studied and learned the modern golf swing and the proper techniques in all areas of the game. I have been helping teach the junior program at my country club every Wednesday and Saturday for the past 2 years. I play in as many tournaments as possible.  When I am not competing, I am working hard and practicing to improve my game.  I work hard academically as well. I have taken honors and AP courses in high school to challenge myself. I have learned that in golf and in school you cannot just rely on being talented or naturally smart; You can only be as good as the amount of work you put in.
