Personal Statement
My love of the game of golf was sparked when I was 10 years old. Once that first club hit my hands, I was instantly hooked. Golf was my safe haven. If I wasn't having the best day, I would go out to the course and those rough feelings would quickly go away. As I continued to play golf, I became aware of the opportunities it opened up. Going into my senior year of high school, I have been a member of the varsity golf team all 4 years. Playing in high school and junior tournaments, I know what it is like to play against very strong competition. I feel that playing with someone that is very skilled makes me play a whole lot better. Golf has always been apart of my life, and I hope it continues to be as I look to play at the collegiate level. While golf has always been my number one priority, I also take pride in my studies. I really value a good education. I am also a member of various clubs within Rogers High School, so I have plentiful experience surrounding myself with new people. With all of this being said, I look to play collegiate golf at a university that suits my athletic and academic prowess.
