Personal Statement
My golf game is the best it’s ever been right now. A few months ago, I began working with well known mental coach, Rick Sessinghaus, and his instruction has taken my game to the next level! I recently broke course records at Coto de Caza CC, (score 61, yardage 6,950,74/139), and at the Victoria Club, (score 61, yardage 6,517, 71.1/131). I also won the last 2 tournaments I entered: 8/10-8/11, Notah Begay Los Angeles Regional Qualifier, 69,69, T1, yardage 6804-6804 and 7/29-7/30, SCPGA Toyota Tour Cup Q School, 74,67, T1, yardage 6804-6517). I also recently placed 3rd in the Inland Empire Amateur Championship out of 147 golfers (68, 65, 69 for -13, 3 day total) on 9/5-9/7.
I'm also looking forward to the many tournaments coming up in my schedule. I play on the Toyota Tour for juniors in Southern CA and am ready to play in as many Toyota tournaments as I can! In November I will be playing in the Notah Begay III National Junior Championship in Louisiana, which will be televised on the Golf Channel. I hope you can watch me play!
My goal is to play golf in college at the highest level I can. I can't wait to bring my contribution to a college team and represent a school well. When I am not on the golf course, I am working hard on my studies. I currently have a 3.94 GPA and I plan to take the SAT in December. As far as hobbies go, I enjoy bouldering with my sister, playing with my dog, going to the beach and hanging out with friends.
