Personal Statement

I set my collegiate goals very high in academics and college Golf. I've always been a team sports player until three years ago when I took up the great game of golf and got hooked. I have since then gave up all other sports and played in about 80 tournaments in last two years. My freshman year of golf I was named MVP on Varsity and my sophomore year I was named all conference MVP. I am dedicated to my school work and my golf game. I want to excel in both. My goal is to play on the PGA. I was player of the year for the First Tee of Sacramento, and U.S. Kids Tour. I have since done bigger tournaments and more two to four day tournaments. I play Hurricane, AJGA, JGANC, NCSA, USGA and FCWT. I competed in the U.S. Junior Amateur Championships in Tennessee. I enjoy the game and am looking forward to playing in college. I am completely dedicated and always trying to improve my game. I practice daily and am still able to keep my 4.0 GPA.

I played pretty well. Day 1 I shot 70, day 2 I shot 66, day 3 I shot E. I finished in 2nd place with an -8. I received an award for most birdies, getting 14 at this tournament. I also had 1 eagle. I received 1st team award for academic excellence as well as player performance. I also received the For the Good of the Game award. This is FCWT's highest honor. It is given to players that the FCWT staff deem to be the best representative of the character befitting a champion.
