My name is Kyle Murray. I'm a senior at Basalt High School, Basalt, Colorado. I've been playing golf since I was a little kid. My father was the one that made me fall in love with this sport. I acquired a spot on the varsity golf team my freshman year and competed in all the tournaments that were hosted that year. Although I didn't play good golf that year. Referring to a 90+ handicap that year. I pushed forward and worked hard to lower my average scoring round to mid-'80s that next year which gave me the 3rd spot on the varsity golf team. Now today I am scoring pretty close to my mid-70s with a driving power to get that lower.
As well as my grades. I've been ranked in the top 20th in my grade to have the highest GPA. Every year in high school I come on top with all A's except for one B in a class each semester. But that didn't happen last semester where I got all A's. Although I'm not a good test taker as my SAT says so, I will succeed in getting that score higher.
I'm the person that will work hard to succeed the expectation that any coach wants from me.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I am in the National Honor Society at my high school. We do fun-raisers and help the community in any way. Set up events and take down events. Mostly we help students in our school that is struggling in classes or behind in homework. Try and make them catch up and understand what they are learning about.Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. Junior year I took AP US History as well as a college-level algebra math class. For my Senior year, I will be taking 4 AP classes which right now are AP Clac, AP Gov't, AP Environmental Science, and AP Lan.Registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center?
