Brayden Scheich '24 Recruiting Profile

I started playing golf around the age of 5 but I did not start playing competitive golf until I was about 14. Before I got into golf seriously, I played competitive soccer for about 8 years. I was named Most Valuable Player on the freshman/sophomore soccer team for my High School during my freshman year. I have played varsity golf all three years in high school so far. I have made  an appearance in the State High School tournament my  sophomore year along with my junior year and my junior year I placed 11th shooting 70-71 and was 4 shots out of winning. Outside of high school, I have played in many Colorado Junior PGA tournaments and qualified for CGA Junior match play as one of the top 30 junior golfers in the state. I also finished 2nd place in the season ending tournament for CGA, shooting 2 under through 27 holes (weather prevented the completion of the second round). I have earned academic letters both my freshman and sophomore years of high school. My goals are to go to a school that is the best fit possible for me, graduate with a degree and find a great job all while playing the game of golf.
