My goal for the last couple of years would be to attend a college where I could study engineering (or business, yet to decide) while being able to play golf at the next level. For the last 4 years of my golf career at Lakewood High School, I have worked hard during season and offseason to hopefully get myself in a position where college golf is an option. I started freshman year off a little bit rough but worked my way up to 1st team all conference and 2nd team all state after placing 13th at the 5A State Tournament. I have always worked hard to improve weak areas of my game, but I wouldn’t call it work since I love the sport so much. I will never stop trying to get better and I would like to say I always push myself to be better than I was the day before. I have had the honor of playing along side amazing golfers and I understand what it takes to play at the next level. Along with golf, I take pride in my other sports, basketball and lacrosse, but most importantly I take pride in my education. I take honors and AP classes and currently have a 4.4 gpa on a 5.0 scale. Although it could be better, I have worked on my time management and balancing both school and sports during the year so that neither one is affected by the other. I will always work hard to become a better student, person, and golfer even if I don’t make it to play collegiate golf.
