Nathan Potts '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile!  My name is Nathan Potts.  I am currently a junior at St. Elizabeth High School in Wilmington, Delaware.  I have loved the game of golf ever since I received a golf set at the age of 6 as a Christmas present!  My love for golf continued to grow as I took lessons, attended junior golf camps, entered junior tournaments, became a member of my varsity high school team as a Freshman and continue to be a valuable member as a Junior.  My ultimate dream is to play at the college-level--not only to play but to be a valuable member of the team as well as a good teammate!  I am a hard-working and dedicated student with a 3.92 GPA.   I also am interested in going to college not just to play golf but also to be a successful student and graduate with a degree.  I am confident that I have the qualities to be successful in college both as a student and as an athlete.  I continue to gain valuable competitive golf experience through my high school matches, state tournament and individual tournaments through the DSGA and Junior PGA (Philadelphia Section).  In my community, I am a volunteer with The First Tee of Delaware, helping out with summer youth golf camps.   I also have a part-time job at Wilmington Country Club working as an outside golf service attendant.   Golf has taught me many important things that I will carry throughout the rest of my life such as sportsmanship, perseverance, integrity and respect.  Thank you for your consideration and time! - Nathan Potts
