I have to start off always acknowledging my name. Golf has always been a part of my life, literally since I was born. My parents were using Wilson golf balls when my mom became pregnant. With the last name Putt that went well, and the middle name Palmer (after Arnie) made sense. My mom said I may be a ballet dancer because of my name and while that would be okay, it would be funny.
Turns out I LOVE golf. It has taught me how to focus, be patient and regroup quickly. The most important shot is the next one.
My hope is to continue playing golf in college. I want to compete at the next level. I have never had lessons or a formal coach. My father taught me golf at four years old and I've been playing ever since. The majority of my tournaments have been through U.S. Kids Golf association (since I was 7) and most years I qualify for the World tournament in Pinehurst. I started in Pennsylvania and continue to play in Florida.
I work hard both on the course and off (school). I need an opportunity for instruction and guidance at the next level. With that I can be a rockstar.
