Personal Statement

I started playing golf in 2019, during eighth grade. At first, I played just for fun, until my Coach, Andy Scott, reached out to me to see if I wanted to join him for a lesson. From that point on, I gained a passion for the game of golf. Through the years of training, practicing, and playing, golf has taught me many skills such as patience, focus, confidence, and ethics, which I also use in everyday life.

I am currently playing Florida State Golf Association - Junior Tour (FJT), Junior Golf Tour | Suncoast Junior Tour | Southwest Florida, and American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). I understand I haven’t played that long. However, if a coach gave me an opportunity, they wouldn’t regret it. I am a very dedicated and hardworking individual that strives towards my goals with God. I have made significant progress each year. I am only getting better, and my goal is to play golf on the collegiate stage. If a coach gave me this opportunity, you would never see anyone work harder than me in the classroom or on the course. I would dedicate my college career to making an impact on the team. I am excited for the opportunity to continue to keep getting better every day and strive towards my goals.
