My name is Taylor Bell. I live in Tallahassee, Florida and attend Lawton Chiles High School. I have been a member of the Chiles golf team since my freshman year. During my three years on the team, we have won two state championships and finished runner-up this past year. I play junior golf with the Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) on the Florida Junior Tour (FJT) and the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour (SJGT).
I have maintained over a 4.0 weighted GPA and take a combination of AP and honors courses. My goal is to pursue golf at the college level while also studying for my bachelor's degree. I am still somewhat undecided on a field of study but am leaning towards business management or communications. My hope is that I will be able to continue my golf career, even after college, playing in amateur events and one day professional events.
I am looking for a college that will allow me to continue to grow as a golfer while also providing a strong academic foundation as I work towards earning my bachelor's degree.
