Over my several months of playing competitive golf I have learned that I am very patient and I have the ability to block out any negative thoughts. With my experiences in golf I have learned that it benefits me in school and in other daily challenges that I have. Ever since my first tournament this summer I have built up a work ethic that I am very passionate about and dedicated to. I strongly believe that my work ethic mounts over the majority of my competitors. I don't really think about the past I only think about what I can do to improve myself in the present and future. The past never enters my mind after it is done I have a very good way of leaving the past behind me and only focusing on how much better I can get in life and in golf. Staying calm and composed is very critical to be successful as a member of a team and as a student and I feel like I bring that everyday in all aspects of my life. With that mindset I have trained myself to go after a very aggressive set of goals and if I don't accomplish those I will set an even harder set of goals the next time to push myself even more. I set these goals for golf and school, and over the last several months I have noticed that it has very positively affected me as a person and a golfer. I believe with all of my traits and dedication towards the game of golf that I would be a great addition to a college team in the future.
