I am currently a senior enrolled at Heritage High School, Ringgold, GA, with a 4.0 GPA and a 24 ACT score. I take all Honors and AP classes. I am involved in different clubs including: Beta Club, National Honors Society, Marching Band (Mellophone), and Skills USA. My academic strong points are in math and science which is why I would like to pursue a career in Mechanical Engineering. My preferred school would include an engineering program. I want to play at the collegiate level because of my love for golf and I am willing to put in the time and effort to making my game the best it possibly can be. I am ranked #1 on the Heritage Boy's Varsity Team and have been for the past 3 years. I was promoted to team captain my sophomore year by my team and coach, Brian Dodson. My current average 18 hole tournament score is a 77. During my sophomore season I attended the Georgia State Championship as an individual qualifier. Our state qualifying round, at area (4-A Area Regions 5 & 6), was hosted at Nob North Golf Course where I shot a 78. This year (2019 season) our team finished runner-up in area and qualified for state while I posted a 77. I spend most of my time working on my game at my home course, Windstone Golf Club, or at Choo Choo Golf Academy with my swing coach, Thomas Smith. I have been told that my demeanor on and off the course is even-keeled, helping in pressured situations.
