My name is Jesse Lasley. I lead an active, athletic lifestyle with sports coming second only to my family and to my education. My 4.0 GPA shows that my passions for writing, the study of medicine, helping of others and doing what I can to contribute to my community have always been first and foremost. That being said, I have a passion for golf that allows me to meet new people and make friends, as well as compete at a reasonably high level. I am a team player, and I do not get caught up in individual success over the overall well being of the team. Having varsity golf experience in both of my high school seasons has allowed me to maintain a 3.5 handicap, which is becoming lower each year. I work on my game for several hours every day, with my short game being the area that I excel the most in. I am proud of my accomplishments, having been the medalist at various tournaments and the club championship at the local course (River Birch Golf Course) here in Star, Idaho last season. College golf is an aspiration of mine that I truly want to pursue and find success with, and also as a stepping stone to a career as an anesthesiologist. I am looking forward to a prosperous college golf career where I can help others find success, as well as within myself.
