Personal Statement
I have played golf since the age of twelve. When I started playing this sport, what drew me in was how incredibly hard it was and how bad I was at it. I have this natural inclination to hate mediocrity. I use this mindset in everything that I do. I will never do anything half-heartedly or without the intention of finishing it. I think I will be a good fit for a lot of programs because of this mindset and work ethic. With a 4.0 GPA, an experienced career in the game of golf, and a burning desire to be successful in everything that I do in life, I believe that I would be useful to many collegiate programs. I have been through a wide variety of situations that have tested me both mentally and physically. I have also been through many hard times in golf. I truly believe these failures have strengthened my golf psyche and have proved exceptionally beneficial in my long term golfing career.
