Personal Statement
At a young age I played multiple sports, and ultimately started focusing on hockey. My 7th grade summer, I took my first golf lesson and made a junior travel team. It was at that point that I found a love for golf. I began playing more often and my game improved rapidly. My freshman year of high school, I made the varsity team. I learned a lot that year through various ups and downs. Ultimately, I gained a lot of experience and desire to improve my game after competing with many juniors and seniors. My sophomore year at Dundee-Crown High School, I was a sectional qualifier and shot 73 to earn All-Conference. I was the only sophomore awarded Northwest Herald's honorable-mention for the All-Area team that year. In the summer of 2018, I successfully qualified for the Illinois State Junior Amateur Championship.
I am determined to become the best player I can possibly be. When I am not at school or work, I am constantly at the course working to improve my game. I would be thrilled to take my competitive game onto your team. I hope to find success with golf and academics in college. My goal is to attend a 4-year college with a good business program. In just a few short years, I've found a passion for competing at the highest level of golf, and I have always been determined to make myself better. I know that I can become a valuable member to your golf team.
