I am very happy to announce that I have committed to play golf for Loyola University of Chicago which will be in the Atlantic 10 conference beginning my freshman season. Go Ramblers.
Thank you to all the coaches who have visited my site and considered me for their program. It has been a great experience and I am very appreciative of the interest you have shown in me.

The most important thing I think I can say about myself is that I have a tremendous work ethic and I have relied upon it over the past 3 years to improve my golf game, my mental game and my academic performance. I have had a daily practice regimen both out on the range and on Trackman, where I closely watch all of my metrics (club speed, ball speed, smash factor etc.) to improve my performance. I also work out with a golf fitness instructor twice weekly and on my own other days. As a result, over the past 3 years, my golf game has improved from an 8 handicap at the beginning of my freshman year to its current .8 in tournament play; my first Junior Scoreboard ranking at the beginning of 2020 was around 700 for my 2022 graduating class and 3400 overall, while by the end of this summer season, I was ranked 288 for my graduating class and 945 overall. Meanwhile, I have worked extremely hard at staying focused on the course, controlling my emotions and understanding the ups and downs of a round, a tournament and a season so that it influences my performance as little as possible. In the end, I have played golf since I was 5. I have always loved the game and now, after hundreds of rounds, and all the ups and downs, there is still nothing I'd rather be doing on any given day and nothing I want to master more.
Next, I think I would be the kind of teammate that would be a plus for any team. Having competed in both team play for the past 3 years, and in individual tournaments, I know how mentally difficult the game can be on a player. So, as captain of our team this year, I encourage everyone to stay positive, to not let a bad shot or a bad round get them down, to keep grinding it out no matter what, take pride at least in the effort if not the result and to know that if you keep working and keep trying, your game will improve and your scores will go down. Also, having been paired with my share of players who were at the time a lot better or worse than me, I have always prided myself on my sportsmanship toward my competitors and respect for the game regardless of how I played that day.
Finally, I know my academic performance is important. While it would be great to play pro golf, and I guess as with everyone playing at this level, it is something I am striving for, I know that excelling at school is critical to my future no matter where I land down the road. And here too, I have been improving each year and now, at one of the most selective high schools in the country, I have a 3.5+ unweighted GPA taking all honors and AP classes, up from 3.0 after my first freshman semester and something I believe will rise this year..
I hope you will consider me for your team in the future. I think you will be getting a player who is rapidly improving, a student of the game, a supportive teammate and someone who will take care of his responsibilities on and off the course. Thank you.
