Cole Adams '11 Recruiting Profile

I have been dreaming of playing collegiate golf since the time I started playing the game. I made a big sacrifice my junior year and attended the International Golf Academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Although, it was very difficult at the time, it was the best thing I could have done to prepare for college. I thrive in the team atmosphere of competition. I believe it is a privilege to represent your team and your school, and I take that responsibility seriously. It is a thrill to have your teammates count on you, and I love the pressure that comes along with that task. That task was put on me my freshmen and sophomore years, as I was told, by my golf coach, to go out and post a low score so the other teams would know, we were there to win. I did as he requested, and we won both years. The qualities I will bring to a golf program are: a strong work ethic, leadership, integrity, a will to win, honesty, and a determination to become a better golfer.
