Personal Statement

My number one goal is to definitely play collegiate golf. I am looking for a school that I can excel in academically as well as athletically.

A few attributes that I would like to add to this golf resume include:

  • I get along well with other people AND golfers. In my freshman year, the high school team had 8 players (6 seniors), my sophomore year we were thinking we would just have 2 players, but we ended up with 9 players. Now, my junior year, we have 17 players (9 of us are juniors) and this is the first year in almost a decade that my high school has a JV team. I have helped build up my high school boys golf program.
  • Excellent at time management. I do not procrastinate. I don’t waste time whether it is doing homework or practicing golf. I always complete my homework way before it is due.
  • I have a good attitude when I play and compete in golf tournaments.
  • I work very hard in everything that I do.
  • I never give up during a round or even with my classes.
  • Analytical-type person
  • Strengths in academics include math, history, and science
  • I am an only child that lives with both of my parents
  • I like to weight lift and work out.
  • Very competitive in everything I am involved in

In addition to golf, I also like to go mountain biking, play tennis, and love hanging out with family and friends.  I look forward to learning more about college golf life and being part of a college golf team.  Please email or call me anytime with questions.
