Dru Hein '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" junior from Jasper, IN. I have been playing competitive golf locally since I was 11, and travelling to compete since I was 15. I have been a Varsity starter for Jasper High School since my freshman year; I was conference medalist my freshman year and placed 4th this past season. I was first team all-conference my freshman and junior years. I also helped lead my team to the state finals all 3 years (We achieved a third place finish- missing first by 4 strokes and second by only 1). My team-mates look to me to keep the mood relaxed in high pressure situations. Golf is my passion. I intend to pursue a career as a private club head professional. My ideal college/university would be in a climate suited for year-round play, but I would consider attending any school with a strong golf program -regardless of division or location.
