Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Garred Perronie, I'm sure you won't forget it once you read this. I am and will be the hardest working and most dedicated player on your team. I've spent so many hours of my life, no parties, or nights out with friends, I used that time for improvement and work on my game. I am a dedicated student who gets straight A's and takes his grades incredibly serious, if I'm not at practice I'm studying and doing homework. I recently got a job to help pay for new clubs, tournaments, and equipment, this has cut down even the little time I did have to spare, but I still get up at 7:00 a.m. to get to the course when it opens so I can practice before work every weekend instead of sleeping in. I picked the game up my freshman year after quiting the JV baseball team to pursue something I just wanted to take a chance on. I had a set of ladies clubs I got from a yard sale, went out and shot a 48,50 on 9 holes at tryouts. Somehow my coach saw potential and I made the varsity team as a freshman, from then on there wasn't stopping my improvement. Funny thing is I can shoot low 30s at the same course on the front 9 now. Once making the team I spent spring break hitting balls until my hands were too bloody and blistered to hold a club. I've worked insanely hard, never having a swing coach or anyone who really helped improve my game until the beginning of 2017, I worked hours and hours all on my own and went from 50 to 55 for 9 holes, to shooting under par in only just over a 2 year time span. Taking a chance with me isn't taking a chance, it's an improvement to your team and that's a guarantee. Once I start with my new swing coach and a new coach on my team I will be able to take my game to the next level and be regularly shooting well under par. Just sit back and let me show you the wins I will produce and the scores I will shoot!
