Personal Statement
Golf is a game that I have played for many years and one where I developed a great passion for being the best. One day I hope to be the best in Egypt and reach heights no Egyptian has ever achieved. As a passionate and dedicated golfer, my goals and aspirations during the collegiate level primarily revolve around excelling and achieving excellence both individually and as part of a team. My ultimate goal is to win multiple tournaments individually and contribute to a successful collegiate golf program in hopes of winning the championship with my potential squad. I am determined to work hard to achieve these goals and make them a reality.
My combination of superior golf skills, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork and academic excellence makes me a great candidate for any team. Recently, at the start of my sophomore year, I have gotten the privilege of participating in professional events across various tours (MENA Tour, ProGolf Tour, and Asian Development Tour); during my rounds, I got a deeper understanding of the game, and learned, skills from people who have excelled and play the sport as professionals and as a result has improved my game in the amateur level and has honed my skills. In addition, being a member of the Egyptian National team in golf has taught me to be an exceptional team player and understand the meaning of teamwork and how every shot can help the team.
In addition to my golf skills, I am a high-achieving student with a solid academic record. I understand the importance of balancing athletics and academics, and I have worked hard to maintain a GPA that reflects my commitment to excellence both on and off the course. I have been able to balance my academic and athletic needs while also participating in various extracurriculars, taking multiple roles such as but not limited to UNSC President or Head of Public Relations at our annual MUN conference. My ability to balance both has helped me succeed both on and off the course, disciplined me, and taught me how to prioritize.
What I believe truly sets me apart from other recruits is my unwavering dedication and constant improvement; I know that to be successful in golf, hard work and focus are required, and I am committed to putting in the time and effort needed to take my game to the next level and bring me one step closer to achieving my goals both in the short term and long term. Recently, I set a course record at one of Egypt's most challenging golf courses, Madinaty Golf Club. This massive achievement was a testament to my constant work and dedication and has given me the confidence to achieve my goals with incredible determination.
