Firstly I’d like to thank you for viewing my profile.

I am a freshman at Southwestern Community College in Creston, IA, studying Business (Associate Bachelor of Business). I plan to transfer to a 4-year College or University by fall 2019 in order to complete a Bachelors degree in Business.

In my first semester of competitive College golf I had four top ten finishes including one tournament win.

I am the most competitive person that I know and I thrive on competition, either as part of a team or individually. I love seeing the results of working as hard as I can. I also firmly believe in creating very difficult goals in order to really test my ability in all aspects of life.

I plan on making a career out of golf either as a professional player, PGA coach, or in golf related business. I feel my greatest asset on the course is my strategic style - careful planning and smart decisions make a huge difference.

I am working towards the goal of consistently scoring under par in competitive tournaments by year three and four and I feel I am on track to achieve that.

My two main goals for the upcoming semester are to improve my tournament scoring average from 77.4 to 75.5 or lower and therefore place well in tournaments with my team, and to maintain my current GPA of 3.5+ (3.68 currently).

During the first semester I worked hard off the course for a better on-course performance. Going from 149 pounds to 165 pounds, improving my max deadlift, back squat, front squat, pull ups and muscles ups from 220-320pounds, 135-255pounds, 105-175pounds, 8-20, and 0-7 respectively. We are continuing a strict off-course fitness and strength program under the supervision of our two great coaches (see linked coaches).

On a personal note I am an outgoing people-person. I love hanging out with friends, playing tennis, basketball, table tennis, and many other things. I love music and photography. I have a loving family that supports me, and I thank the Lord for blessing me with talents and opportunities.
