I began playing golf when I was old enough to begin swinging a club. I started taking lessons around the age of ten. I have always liked golf, but ever since the summer before my freshman year, I began to love the sport. It has become one of my top priorities in life along with school. I take pride in both because I know they will both effect my life in one way or another in the future. Playing golf has been a way to spend more time with family for me because my parents and grandpa come to watch me at every meet. When we travel, we stay at my aunt’s house a lot because it is on the way to a lot of my tournaments. I also get to spend time with my parents on the golf course when they get done with work. After school and after work in the summer, I like to go to the golf course and get a couple of hours of practice in along with playing a round or two with my friends. I want to play college golf because I love the competition that comes with golf. I would like to continue my competitive career and receive collegiate coaching, while pursuing my degree.
