Ever since I entered my first tournament when I was 12 years old, I knew this was what I wanted to do in college. I fell in love with being a part of the golf community and growing up playing against kids with the same passion as me while making friendships along the way. Golf became my addiction and I continue to find myself always wanting to get out and play the game that I love.
As I moved into my high school career, the team aspect of golf quickly became my favorite part of competing. I have been the #1 or #2 player on my varsity team since I was a freshman. When I was awarded that leadership role at such a young age, I realized that golf is not just an individual sport. It’s taught me that being a great teammate is a very important part of competitive golf. I love the concept of not just playing for yourself, but for your teammates. I'm proud to always bring a positive energy to my teammates in both successes and disappointments.
As I look toward my future in college, I want to find a school that is a great fit for me in sports and academics. I want more than anything to be a part of college golf and do my part to help my team achieve its goals on and off the golf course.
