Andrew Grant '15 Recruiting Profile

I’ve always had an immense passion for the game of golf. I started playing competitively at the age of 8 and started playing high school golf in fifth grade at the age of 9. Unlike some golfers, my passion has only grown with time. I’m as passionate as ever and I think this is evident in my recent improvements. This and my switch to teaching professional, Matt Killen, have helped me get my game on the path to the next level.My passion for golf has never taken my focus off my academics. I’ve been able to maintain a 4.2 weighted GPA while taking a rigorous course load. I was also a 2013 Rogers Scholars and 2014 Governor’s Scholar. Both of these experiences have helped me grow as a person and as a leader on and off the golf course. It has allowed me to better lead my team this year and be the senior leader that my coach and teammates expect. As a member of your team, would bring this passion and leadership to your team. I pride myself on these two principles along with my conduct on and off the course. I feel that I would be a productive member of your team and will do all that I can to improve my team and myself.
