Maxwell McDonald ...Personal Statement
I am Maxwell McDonald, a senior at C.E. Byrd High School. I am a scratch golfer and have been playing golf since a very young age. I guess you could say it’s in my blood. Both my dad and grandfather played golf for LSU, and my goal is to carry on that family tradition and play college golf as well.
I am a good fit for any team because of my strong work ethic which will inspire others to get better. I also have a personality that brings people together, and I am well respected by my teammates, peers, teachers and coaches.
I hope to find a coach who values academics as well as athletics.
I have a “grind” in me that is unmatched, and I am willing to put in however much work necessary to succeed.
