2022 HighlightsPersonal Statement
As a young boy I enjoyed any and all competition, participating in soccer, baseball, basketball, and lacrosse. I loved to win and hated to lose. Despite that passion, I never truly enjoyed any of those sports. I found myself wanting more, more of a challenge and a sport to hold myself more accountable. I first played golf when I was 10 years old and I fell in love with the pursuit of improvement. No other sport I had ever played pushed me like golf did. I started to take golf seriously as a 13 year old in 2019. I was a 23 handicap in 2019, a 7 handicap in 2020, and I am now a 1.5. I love every part of golf and always want it to have a place in my life. My dream has always been to pursue college golf, and I have worked accordingly to achieve that goal. As a team captain I strive to be a leader, a friend, and a strong yet comforting voice for my teammates and I will be able to carry this over to any team I play for.

- I shot 75,77,80. Overall the last day was a tough one, but I tried to make due with what I had, unfortunately I did not do well. I came in top 25.

- I shot 76,73 and came in third. On the second day of the championship I started in 8th place and was able to move up to 3rd place. I was also the low junior score of the championship.

- I shot 75-75 to come in second out of a field of 34, losing by 3 shots. I was 6 down with 6 to play and was able to bring myself within 2 with 3 to play. The course played about 6400 yards and there was rain the second day of the event.

- I shot a 73 and tied for first, the course was playing at about 6400 yards. I was playing well but had a rough finish with 3 straight bogeys.

- My High School Golf Team won the State of Maine Class A Championship in 2020. As such, we were invited to attend. My coach/school did not sign the team up, so we reached out to the Tournament Director so I could attend. I was 9th overall individually in Class A.

- I shot a 79 on course number 9 the first day, playing at just under 7000 yards. I had two doubles and a triple. On day two at number 7 I shot an 87. It was also playing just under 7000 yards. What plagued this round was putting, I had 42 putts. Finally the third day on course number 8 I shot another 79. There was a few three putts but what limited me from shooting better was my inability to make 15-20 foot birdie putts. Overall I shot +29 and finished in 150th place. This was my first multi day tournament.
